With four distinctive vessels—the salon boats Valentijn, Soeverein, Prins van Oranje, and MS de Jordaan—we invite you to enjoy an unforgettable experience on the canals of Amsterdam.

Day-to-day management is in the hands of Boudie Keijzer and her partner Olav van den Broek, while mother Petra Ruijs MS runs the Jordan. Their love for the business can be seen in every detail. Boudie conjures up a perfect four-course meal in the Soeverein's compact kitchen, while Olav stands behind the helm with a big smile. At MS de Jordaan, Petra provides "the most delicious stew and meatballs in Amsterdam."

What sets us apart is not only quality, but also our personal attention. Our experienced team is ready to give you a special experience - whether it's an intimate dinner on the Valentijn, a business event on the Soeverein, a party on MS de Jordaan, or a large event on the stately Prins van Oranje.

From the historic canals to the Markermeer - every cruise is a customized experience, prepared with care and executed with a smile. Not to mention ship's dog Jip, who faithfully keeps watch when Boudie and Olav are briefly off board.

Our history.

CruiseWithUs is a true family business with its own unique fleet, including Varend Erfgoed® (Sailing Heritage).

In 2003, Arno Koningstein and Boen Tan started live cooking on board the Valentijn saloon boat. Their ambition was to combine a gastronomic experience with what they considered to be the most beautiful view: the Amsterdam canals from the water.

In 2007, the sister ship Soeverein was launched, and in 2012, they added the Prins van Oranje to the fleet. Arno and Boen operated their saloon boats in Rederij Cruise With Us.

In 2012, MS De Jordaan was christened, and in 2018, Petra Ruijs turned this Amsterdam party boat into a huge success. MS De Jordaan became famous through radio, TV, and social media, and we can now call it the party boat of Amsterdam. The boat sails an average of four times a week. In addition to authentic Amsterdam parties, we also organize dozens of senior citizen cruises.

Together with her partner Maarten Cuppen, Petra founded CruiseWithUs in 2022, adding the Cruise With Us ships to their fleet. The day-to-day management of CruiseWithUs is in the hands of Petra's daughter, Boudie Keijzer, and her partner Olav van den Broek.

Petra and Maarten assist Boudie and Olav. They are also supported by a dedicated team, all of whose members have gained experience in five-star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants. Knowledge and expertise of that level is now also available on the water.

We believe it is important to keep the lines of communication short, so that you can look back on the organization of your cruise with a good feeling. We take care of every detail of each cruise. On board, our team is ready to offer all guests the best service and carefree comfort.

If you wish, you can have your own cruise planner. You can discuss all your wishes with him or her from the very beginning. He or she will also be present during your reception on board as manager/coordinator. In addition, our small team is closely involved in all aspects of the shipping company. This enables us to guarantee that we will take care of your cruise experience with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
